What started out as a casual invitation from Shawna, a close family friend, after a weekend camping trip,

evolved into an exciting idea of offering kayak rentals and transforming it into a business. In 2020, my wife gifted me our first kayak for Father's Day, and we couldn't let dad have all the fun, so we purchased enough for the whole family. After enjoying several trips on different creeks, rivers and lakes, we wanted our friends to join in, and before we knew it, we accumulated enough kayaks for everyone to experience the thrill of kayaking.

Midwest Kayak Rentals was established on March 22, 2022. We have transformed this passion into a business, offering a variety of kayaks and paddleboards for your friends and family to enjoy.​​​​
